Exploring the traditional North East craft of Rug Making
Meet the ladies from Woodhorn Matters at St Mary’s on Saturday 14th January 2017 2pm – 4pm
One of the oldest and most traditional North East art forms will come back to life at St Mary’s Inn from 1st December 2016 when we showcase some of the works of local voluntary craft group Woodhorn Matters. Proggy/clippy Mat and Rug makers , the ladies from the group will display their vibrant crafts, including wall hangings, rugs, bags and decorations.
There is also the opportunity to meet the ladies in person at St Mary’s on Saturday 14th January from 2-4pm and gain an insight into this traditional craft form.
